This holiday season, don’t let yourself fall off track with the first sign of cookies in the office. Though this time of year often brings events, parties and get-togethers, do not neglect the weight loss plan that you have been working so hard for. Now more than ever you want to stay focused on your weight loss surgery results, making healthy choices and keeping up with your exercise. Keep the following things in mind:

  1. Bring your own healthy dish to the party if you’re not sure there’s going to be a lighter option.ust because the sweets and treats are there, does not mean you have to eat them.eep exercising.
  2. If you have an event right after work, wake up early that morning and hit the gym or go for a walk. MAKE physically activity fit into your schedule!
  3. Instead of “cookie parties” or “baking parties”… have friends over for a movie night. This is a good time to thank those that have been supportive during your weight loss surgery process.
  4. Avoid this thought: “I’ll go back to my healthy diet after the holidays.” This allows poor choices and overeating.

Stay motivated! Though your usual routine might be thrown off slightly due to events, visitors or weather, stick with the healthy weight loss plan you have developed and don’t let anything knock you off track!
