You’ve said goodbye to the chips, cookies, crackers, and all your crunchy snacks post weight loss surgery. Now what? Do you still crave the crunch, but don’t want the calories?

 

Believe it or not, we have some recipe options for you to have as a snack or with meals that will give you the crunch you wanted, but none of the carbohydrates, and fat.

 

Jicama (Yambean): ¼ cup, 11.5 calories, 0 gm fat, 0 gm protein, 2.75 gm carbs

Cucumber: ¼ cup, 4 calories, 0 gm fat, 0 gm protein, 1 gm carbs

Radishes: ¼ cup, 4.75 calories, 0 gm fat, 0 gm protein, 1 gm carb

Bellpepper Slices: ¼ cup, 7.5 calories, 0 gm fat, 0 gm protein, 1.75 gm carbs 

             

*Dip in Non-fat Greek yogurt with lemon and dill for added protein and flavor.
